Oakey Vintage Machine Show
Trip up to Oakey for the Vintage Machine show a scorcher of a day well worth the trip great to see so many displays with the variety including the Pavilion which housed some fine vintage displays of sewing machines, wedding dress and other garments thee had Sue’s attention when we heard it announced on the PA while having breakfast.
Below are stills taken from the video showing what can go wrong during a pour this was molten Alloy, no one hurt during this process it highlights the precautions required as well as why many wear safety equipment such as full clothing and leather aprons, spats and boots. 1200C ho molten metal is unforgiving.
